Sports Hydration Guide

I just came across a neat info-graphic on sports hydration. It was made for a motocross site, but it relates to all sports. Check it out below if you’re interested.

Personally I don’t recommend “variety store energy drinks” at all (red bull, monster, etc). But I do think that a sports supplements such as Amino Energy are great for before certain sports, including motocross. I would also recommend an intra workout supplement such as Xtend to replenish the body with electrolytes like they talk about in the info-graphic, and also amino acids that will help the body recover. Overall though there were some interesting points brought up in the graphic.
