GoStak Review

GoStakI recently posted about how I thought Blender Bottle was the best supplement shaker cup out there. If you haven’t read that article I recommend you check it out. Today I’m going to be taking a look at “GoStak” which is another great product by Blender Bottle for workout enthusiasts.

The GoStak product is a portable nutrition holder. Each GoStak comes with 4 different size jars that will stack on top of each other making them very portable. They can be used to store a number of different food items or supplements from protein powders, pre workout supplements, supplement pills, snacks (nuts), vegetables, fruits, etc. The possibilities are really endless.

Best Supplement Shaker Cups

Best Shaker CupsThis post is going to be quick, but I just wanted to give my opinion on the best supplement shaker cup or bottle out there. I’ve gone through dozens of supplement shaker cups over the years and have had some really poor quality products and some others that have been solid and lasted quite a while.

About a year ago I came across my absolute favorite supplement shaker bottle because of its high quality. The best supplement bottle in my opinion is the Blender Bottle, which can be seen in the picture on left side.

In the past I’ve had shaker cups that leak, get really warped in the dishwasher after just one or two washes, or just really start to stink after being used a few times.

Quest CravingsI haven’t been posting here much, but I’ve been busy working out and eating healthy. If you follow my Facebook page you’ve seen some of my updates. I have a bunch of new products to review here and I will try to get some other posts up in June as well.

Today I’m going to be reviewing “Quest Cravings” by Quest Nutrition. These are Peanut Butter Cups similar to a protein bar, and trying to resemble the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups that so many of us love.

Per package, which contains two peanut butter cups, you are getting 240 calories with 20 grams of protein and just 1 gram of sugar. There is 10 grams total of carbohydrates, but 3 of those are dietary fiber and just 4 are “active carbs”. There is 17 grams of fat, which is a bit of a downside although some of that is from peanut butter which isn’t all bad fat (8g saturated fat in total).

PhytoBerry Review

One of my most recommended supplements is PhytoBerry by Progressive Nutritional. Below is my PhytoBerry review which explain exactly what this supplement is and why it is so good for your health.

PhytoBerry is a berry based whole food supplement that is loaded with natural antioxidants. Basically what they have done is taken fruit concentrates, phytonutrients, essential fatty acids, and herbal extracts and combined them into a powerful antioxidant supplement. One serving is equivalent to the nutrient content you would get from 6-8 servings of fresh fruit (without all the added sugar calories).

Why are Antioxidants good for you?

Basically antioxidants neutralize the effects of “free radicals” which are known to cause different kinds of diseases and illnesses. The free radicals are from the natural process of your oxidation of your body when you eat and your body combines the food with oxygen. The oxidation effect is what causes a car to rust or a fruit to brown. You can’t eliminate these free radicals but you can control and neutrilizae them by increasing the level of antioxidants in your body.

Cellucor NO3 Chrome Review

This morning I’m going to do a quick review of Cellucor’s Nitric Oxide “Pump Amplifier” product, NO3 Chrome. I am just finishing up a bottle of this supplement and I have a good idea of how well it worked (for me at least) which I will get to below.

Cellucor created this NO3 Chrome product as a pre workout supplement that doesn’t contain stimulants or creatine. Almost every pre workout on the market is made with caffeine or other stimulants, and a large percentage of them have creatine in them as well. Because Cellucor knows that a lot of bodybuilders, athletes and other people who train like to take time off of using stimulants such as caffeine and/or creatine they’ve created this product that fills a hole in the supplement industry.
