First Workout Tip Blog Post

Well today is my first real blog post here at I have recently put this website up to share workout tips with you whether you are looking to lose fat, gain muscle, perform better in sports, or just feel more healthy. I have been working out for over 6 years now, and I love going to the gym!

Today is December 28th, 2010 and is my first day getting ready for my upcoming vacation which I believe will be February 10th (2011 of course).

I recently just purchased some supplements for the first few weeks of training to get ready for my vacation. I picked up Animal Pak (multi-vitamin), Animal Cuts (fat burner supplement), and the new SuperPump Max. I also will be taking Animal Omega and a Beta-Alanine, both of which I already have.

Bookmark my blog, as I will be reviewing these supplements once I have used them for 2-3 weeks and feel that I really know how they are working. I will also share my workouts from time to time, and any tips that I think you will find useful.

Right now I am weighing in at 200.2 pounds. My goal for February 10th is 192 and “shredded”.

I trained hard for a couple months before heading to Vegas in November, and got in really good shape (about 196 pounds). But after the trip I ate pretty crappy for about a month (including Christmas holidays) and lost a tiny bit of muscle and added some fat. While it was nice eating without worrying for a bit, I don’t feel as good as I did before my Vegas trip and I can’t wait to get back into the groove of things.

My plan for the 6 weeks leading up to my vacation is split into 3 weeks each. The first 3 weeks I am going to try and cut the fat that I have gained over the last couple of weeks while maintaining my muscle. The following 3 weeks leading up to my vacation I am going to focus more on building muscle (assuming I have cut down enough).
